Dover Field is a few blocks north of Coyote Den, at NE corner of 36th St & 30 Ave SE.

ADDITIONAL TRAINING: As part of our program, all players are invited to train with our professional staff
every Tuesday and Thursday at Coyote Den. Training slots will be 6-7pm and 7-8 pm on each Tuesday and Thursday of Instructional Fall Ball.
POSITIONS: To help assign teams fairly, please identify your main positions and if you are a PITCHER and/or CATCHER on the bottom of the Registration Form.

COACHES: It is obvious that coaches are required. This is the perfect opportunity for younger coaches to get experience and for other coaches to pass on their experience. We will make every reasonable effort to involve all persons who want to COACH. Instructional components will be led by Ripken staff coaches. PLEASE INDICATE ON YOUR ATHLETE'S REGISTRATION FORM THAT YOU WANT TO BE INVOLVED.

UMPIRES: As a general rule, we are able to secure umpires for all games.  However, EVERYONE should recognize that umpires might need to be supplied from time to time by teams (i.e. parents).

UNIFORMS: Coyote Baseball will provide numbered tee-shirts and program hats.
Note: Athletes are to have their own batting helmet, and provide their own baseball pants etc.

RULES: Rules will emphasize our OBJECTIVE that this be a learning experience, in addition to the OBVIOUS INTENT that the players simply enjoy playing baseball.
Players will play full MLB style baseball rules, except dropped third strike.

Equal play and opportunity (safety and development come first) will be cornerstones. Some other rules will include; maximum 3 runs per inning except in the last inning, maximum two (2) innings per day for each pitcher, and "no contact" safety standards. Games will have time limits.

PERFORMANCE OPTION: Some athletes may be selected in various age groups to compete in tournament experiences outside of Calgary.
This is pending player and event availability.
